There are several ways to search for and request materials through the Library.
Choose from the Library’s Collection
You can log into your online account and place a hold request for just about any item in our collection! Not sure how to use your account? Check out our Use your Online Account page for a list of tutorials.
Interlibrary Loan
If we don’t own a title, you might be able to borrow it from another library using Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Please note that you must be a Lake Bluff Library cardholder in order to place an ILL request. Items must have been published at least 6 months prior to the request date.
Suggest a Purchase
Is there something you think the Library should have it its collection? Let us know! While we can’t guarantee every item will be added, we carefully consider all suggestions. Only Lake Bluff Library cardholders may suggest a purchase.

Request Materials for Classroom Use
